Like everywhere, scheduled events in Huron County for the summer are up in the air due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A recent report to Huron County Council by Cultural Services indicated staff has been working remotely from home since late March, which results in an inability to process things like camp registrations and donations.
With provincial and federal legislation in place, every event scheduled until the end of June have been either cancelled or postponed outright.
That includes the Huron Multicultural festival and the Alice Munro Festival of the Short Story, two of the biggest annual draws to the area each summer.
