United Way Perth-Huron is voicing its support for a recent federal funding announcement.
Minister of Families, Children and Social Development Ahmed Hussen recently announced the Emergency Community Support Fund, which provides financial support to charities and other qualified donees adapting their frontline services to support vulnerable Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The fund is valued at over $407,000.
UWPH is asking local organizations to apply for a chance to see part or all of that funding in Huron or Perth County.
