Some scary stats are being highlighted during Motorcycle Safety Month.
Fatalities involving motorcycles are up 300 percent over last year with all four deaths in 2020 coming in May.
Two of the four motorcyclists were driving properly during their collision which is why police are reminding everyone to be safe and share the roads.
The other two fatal collisions involved excessive speed which according to the OPP has been one of the top contributing factors in motorcycle deaths over the past 10 years.
Police are reminding everyone to be vigilant when out driving as motorcycles don’t take up as much space as other vehicles.
