The South Huron Hospital Foundations Ungala Gala took place recently and lots of fun was had by everyone who attended virtually.
All the proceeds stay local and will go towards building a safe room for staff and patients at the hospital, as well as towards training and retention at the Little Hospital that Does.
Executive Director Kimberly Payne says the community stepped up in a big way.
The event featured mostly local talent including Nick Bailey as the emcee, who did a monologue at the South Huron Rec Centre showcasing how different the event was this year.
Payne says the foundation has gotten calls from all over the province asking about how they were able to have such a successful event virtually.
