Anishinabek police are investigating a Friday afternoon disturbance at the former Camp Ipperwash lands at Kettle & Stony Point First Nation alongside The Lambton OPP Crime Unit.
At about 12:15 p.m. police responded to 9356 Army Camp Rd. in Lambton Shores, where they came across two destroyed structures by fire. It’s believed the properties were cannabis shops.
The OPP opted to close a bulk of the nearby Highway 21 as smoke consumed the air during the afternoon.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Anishinabek Police Service, Kettle and Stony Point Detachment at 519-786-5445 or Crime Stoppers.
