Good timing has led to the arrest of an Exeter woman.
On July 4th police got a call that a child’s bicycle had been stolen from Simcoe Street in Exeter overnight.
An officer noticed a woman sitting on a bike that matched the description of the stolen bicycle.
The officer tried to arrest the woman but she resisted and bolted on foot.
A short pursuit led to the arrest of the woman.
28 year old Cassandra Corr from South Huron is facing charges for resisting arrest and for theft under $5000.
