The Municipality of Bluewater has felt the effect of COVID-19 and like everywhere else the bottom line is proof.
Documents from the latest council meeting indicate over $116,000 has been considered lost revenue to date, with it reaching upwards to around $210,000 as time continues.
Mayor Paul Klopp said these are tough days when money has to come out with no return on your dollar.
The impact on the 2021 budget will be immeasurable, with Klopp adding staff have been directed to find savings however they can, such as keeping the ice machine off at the arena.
Wages and benefits are valued at nearly $93,000 while lost rink revenues until the end of the year comes in at over $85,000.
