Western University’s Northern Tornado Project has sent a team to investigate the damage following the wild weather on Sunday.
Up to four tornados to the region including one in Exeter and one in Grand Bend are being investigated.
An official with Western University believes most of the tornadoes will be on the lower end of the EF scale, but added that the tornado that went between Exeter and Lucan produced more damage so results could get up to the EF-2 reading.
Tornadoes associated with EF-2 produce winds between 180-220 km/h.
Sunday’s storm saw trees downed, and damage to buildings in Lucan, Mitchell, Lambton County and in Exeter.
Thankfully no injuries have been reported.
