The warden for Middlesex County is confident there’ll be similar messaging surrounding wearing masks across the municipalities and townships which makes up the county.
Cathy Burghardt-Jesson was asked by myFM if she’s worried that some municipal councils will pass a mask by-law while others won’t, creating a bit of a confusion and a further divide on the effectiveness of masks.
Burghardt-Jesson says the resources are few when it comes to enforcing the mask mandate put in place by medical officer of health Dr. Chris Mackie, but they’ll continue with an educational approach.
In regards to that mandate, the warden said what she heard was all positives from municipal leaders and business owners that she talked to.
