The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership will be hosting their 21st Summer Company Program.
Four local students have been provided a $1,500 grant to launch their business, as well as mentoring and training over 12 weeks this summer.
Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to receive an additional $1,500.
Businesses operating in this year’s Summer Company Program are a lawncare company, a handcrafted sustainable craft business, a monthly local product “goody business”, and a clean cosmetics brand.
The Summer Company Program is open to high school and post-secondary students between the ages of 15 and 29.
