A Stratford man is facing charges for impaired driving after allegedly causing a big crash in Mitchell over the weekend.
On July 25th just after 11 PM, Perth OPP, the Mitchell Fire Department and the Perth Paramedic Service were called to Huron Road in Mitchell following reports of a crash.
Investigators say a sports car was traveling westbound on Huron Road when it left the roadway and struck two parked vehicles.
The second parked vehicle ended up crashing into a third parked vehicle which then hit a home.
In total three parked vehicles, a home, a tree, and three front yards were heavily damaged.
A homeowner helped extinguish an engine fire and helped the uninjured driver.
While speaking with the man police noted he has consumed alcohol and showed several impaired signs so he was arrested and two breath samples proved he was over the legal limit.
A 45 year old man is now facing impaired driving charges.
