At approximately 11:30 a.m. on August 1st, the Lambton OPP, Lambton Emergency Services and Lambton Fire Department responded to a possible drowning in the waters of Lake Huron off the main beach in Grand Bend.
A 42 year old from Brampton was pulled from the water by lifeguards and was taken to a local hospital by Lambton EMS, where they were pronounced dead.
The name of the deceased will be made available once next of kin has been notified.
