The Municipalities of Bluewater and South Huron along with the OPP are closing Waterworks Road near Grand Bend.
The closure is taking place under the Highway Traffic Act.
Out of concern for public safety due to overcrowding Waterworks Road will remain closed until further notice.
Port Blake Day Park will also remain closed for the 2020 season.
