A recent questionnaire surveying local health care workers gave a snapshot into their mental health.
Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health, surveyed essential healthcare workers in Huron County, who continued to work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
65 per cent of respondents indicated they have experienced personal stressors at work since the onset of the pandemic.
Of these participants, 96 per cent believe personal stressors are a direct result of the pandemic, while 95 per cent reported the pandemic exacerbated the stress they are experiencing.
