A 41 year old has died after police were called about a man without any vital signs.
The incident happened just before 7 PM on Sunday (Aug 2), when officers responded to a Main Street South address in Exeter.
First responders provided first aid at the scene before taking the man to a local hospital.
The victim sadly died later in the hospital.
The cause of death is being treated as an overdose, but investigators are still awaiting toxicology reports.
Police are asking everyone to remember the Good Samaritan Drug Overdose Act which provides protection for anyone at the scene of a drug overdose for simple drug possession.
