The Municipality of North Middlesex has earmarked 15 thousand a year towards a Community Vibrancy Fund.
The fund will help develop a facade improvement program for eligible businesses with designated Main Street areas.
The goal of the funding is to assist property owners to improve the appearance, functionality or accessibility of the buildings storefronts or facades.
This will help make streets more inviting, help owners attract and retain tenants, build civic pride in the local business community, contribute to the quality of life of residents, workers and visitors, and improve marketability of the local business area.
