Effective immediately, the limits of people allowed at a private residence has been rolled back.
In a rare Saturday press conference, Premier Doug Ford said this is directly related to the increased COVID-19 cases, and people ignoring the rules.
For at least the next 28 days, indoor gatherings are limited to 10 people, and outdoor get togethers are capped at 25. This applies to private gatherings only and doesn’t include professionally staffed venues, such as restaurants or movie theatres.
Ford notes parties which exceed these figures could land the hosts $10,000 fines.
