Huron County continues to take steps towards addressing the increasing homelessness crisis.
In a media release, the county released immediate and long-term action and solutions which are ongoing.
In the immediate action, the County pointed to their formed Homelessness Task Force, a partnership between Huron-Perth United Way to deliver Urgent Needs Funding; and much more.
For the foreseeable future, the County says work continues on the Long-term Affordable Housing which began in 2014.
