During September’s Public Works Update, Huron County Council was advised that staff are reviewing several intersections in the area.
Among the intersections is Blyth Road and County Road 4 in Blyth.
County Engineer Steve Lund’s update explained that they’re looking into safety and traffic controls and considering upgrades.
According to the reports, the intersection was studied a couple years ago.
But, at that time, it was determined it didn’t meet the criteria for improved traffic control.
Now, though, Lund says that recent development has increased traffic flows.
Possible options for the intersection could include traffic lights or a roundabout.
