Area farmers and agri-food businesses are about to receive more than $300,000 in funding from the Canadian Agricultural Partnership.
Thirty projects in the region will benefit from this investment.
These initiatives support improvements in areas such as enhanced traceability systems, upgraded animal-handling equipment, and strengthened biosecurity measures.
Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker says the funding is important for local farmers who continue to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
