The Huron County OPP, Paramedic Services and local volunteer fire department are responding to the scene of a single motor vehicle crash west of Mt. Carmel.
Police report that first responders were dispatched to the collision, at Mt. Carmel Drive and Grand Bend Road, at around 1:30pm.
According to police, the driver was taken by air ambulance to the hospital with serious injuries.
While police continue to investigate, they say Mount Carmel Drive will remain closed between Corbett Road and Bullock Line.
More details on the collision are expected.
