Beginning today, the province says children with a runny nose will not have to get a COVID-19 test before returning to school.
The provincial government announced the revision to their COVID-19 screening guidelines for schools yesterday afternoon.
The new guidelines feature two sets of questions, meant to determine if a child may have COVID-19 or another illness.
The first set of questions will ask about symptoms like a fever or a cough, while the second set of questions will ask about symptoms more commonly associated with other illnesses, like a runny nose.
