United Way Perth-Huron are very encouraged by the early start of their fundraising campaign.
Executive Director Ryan Erb says over $300,000 has been raised of their $1.762 million goal just over a week after the official launch.
Erb says the community is clearly already showing up.
The funding again goes towards addressing Unignorable Issues on top of COVID-19 relief. Erb says homelessness is such a difficult issue to unravel and it’s not going to be done overnight.
