The Middlesex-London Health Unit is implementing three new Class 22 orders Saturday which impact bars and restaurants, indoor fitness facilities, and personal care services.
One of the changes includes limiting indoor recreation activities to 10 people including staff, and the groups must be separated by at least nine metres.
Medical officer of Health Dr. Chris Mackie was asked how that’ll impact minor hockey, as the order also applies to ice pads and indoor soccer fields.
Mackie disputes the notion this will greatly limit bars and restaurants and the other facilities, as tables are now limited to no more than six people, and said people will continue to be creative in the way they operate.
