The United Way of Perth-Huron is hosting a livestream event discussing Basic Income tonight.
Beginning at 7pm on YouTube, the event will featured renowned moderators and panelists, including Dr. Tracy Smith-Carrier.
Dr. Smith-Carrier gives her thoughts on what Basic Income could look like.
She continues, pointing out that economic stability will be even more important in a post-COVID world.
She believes it would allow people opportunities to pursue further education and training and flexibility to spend time with family.
