The two day Municipal Agri-Food Forum put on by the County of Huron wraps up today (Nov 19).
A variety of topics were discussed, with the goal to better highlight agriculture in Huron County, and hear from community stakeholders.
Among what was discussed on day one was Exporting as a Growth Strategy, putting the spotlight on how producers pivoted to selling admist the COVID-19 pandemic, and more.
On the docket for day two is discussing the municipal capacity to addressing current rural and agricultural issues, cannabis as an ag use, and more.
