Huron County Paramedics are helping administer flu shots to residents.
They have set up flu shot clinics throughout the fall as part of outreach programming for targeted groups, including seniors, tenants, and the most vulnerable members in the community.
Paramedic services have been using their emergency service trailer to hold these clinics with physical distancing measures and the wearing of face masks.
According to a news release from the County, Paramedics have provided more than 200 vaccinations this year, with the largest targeted clinics yet to come.
They say Huron County Paramedics are expecting to administer close to 400 vaccination this year, an estimated 70% increase from last year.
