The coronavirus may put a damper on parties and celebrations this holiday season, but it’s still a high-risk time for impaired driving.
That’s the motivation behind last week’s launch of the annual Project Red Ribbon Campaign promoted by the Huron-Bruce Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) chapter along with Huron and South Bruce OPP.
Huron-Bruce MADD recently celebrated their 25th anniversary and Project Red Ribbon has rolled out every year to educate motorists about driving sober during the holiday season.
Huron County OPP Sgt. Russ Nesbitt cautions motorists they should expect to see enhanced patrols and RIDE checks throughout this festive season.
