A grant of over $3000 will be helping with PPE recycling in the local community.
Eco Exeter got the grant from the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund and Community Foundations of Canada.
The plan is to purchase new PPE recovery boxes, South Huron District High School grade 11 student Lucas Dobson tells us more.
Eco Exeter has teamed up with Green Circle Salons, and people can discard their PPE when they’re done with it, before the company takes the full boxes, incinerates them, and uses the resulting ashes for bricks and asphalt.
