The Ontario government is allocating another $120 million to help municipalities and Indigenous communities protect people during COVID-19.
In total Huron County has received over $1.3 million, while Stratford has gotten over $2.2 million and Lambton County has gotten over $4.5 million.
The money can be used to improve the delivery of critical services, protect the homeless, renovate or purchase facilities for longer term housing solutions, add to rent banks, and to support plans to deal with future outbreaks or emergencies.
