Huron Perth Public Health has 126 active cases of COVID-19 in the region, as well as 10 active outbreaks.
As myFM previously reported there is a COVID outbreak at the Stratford General Hospital surgery unit, which now sits at 4 cases all in staff.
HPPH says there are also 7 long-term care outbreak.
The long term care homes effect can be found below along with the amount of cases they have seen.
-Caressant Care in North Perth- 40 cases (13 staff, 27 residents)
– Exeter Villa 47 cases (36 residents, 11 staff)
– Fordwich Village in North Huron- 2 staff members
– Greenwood Court in Stratford- 1 staff member
– Knollcrest Lodge in Perth East 2 staff members
-Spruce Lodge in Stratford 1 staff member
– Wildwood Care Centre in St. Marys 1 staff member.
HPPH also has announced three retirement homes in outbreak.
The homes include:
-Caressant Care in North Perth 25 (19 residents, 6 staff)
-Exeter Village 3 (1 resident, 2 staff)
– Living Stone Manor in North Perth 4 (2 residents, 2 staff)
