The Grand Bend Community Foundation is now looking to serve a wider area and as such have changed their name.
The newly named Sunset Community Foundation will serve the Grand Bend area along with projects in Huron County and beyond.
Established in 2001, the Foundation has permanently invested over $3 million and has made over $2 million in grants.
The Foundation has supported numerous projects including a beachfront stage, food banks, sports and recreation facilities, mentorship programs for vulnerable children, scholarships for local students, tree planting, and more.
Funds in Grand Bend will continue to be held, managed, granted and administered as they currently are.
