The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal and the Perth County Major Crime Unit are investigating Tuesday’s large fire at a motel east of Stratford.
It was mid morning when the blaze erupted at the business on Forest Road. One person was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Roads in the area were closed for several hours while firefighters from the Township of Perth East extinguished the flames.
