The County of Huron’s annual SLED (Supporting Local Economic Development) program provides a chance for municipalities and registered non-profits to receive funding for projects which target key regional priorities in COVID-19 recovery, workforce attraction, agriculture, tourism, or investment attraction. It opens on February 8.
Successful projects will be provided up to $10,000 through the SLED fund and must be completed by March 31, 2022. Recipients of the SLED program funding must use funds in a way that has a clear economic impact.
The program is delivered on a first come, first served basis, closing March 31, or when funds are exhausted, whichever is earlier.
