The local United Way Coldest Night of the Year walk has raised over $39 thousand and has smashed the $30 thousand dollar mark but funds are still rolling in.
Campaign Co-Chair of United Way Perth-Huron, Martin Ritsma, encourages walkers to conclude their walk in this year’s Coldest Night of the Year event with a selfie outside Exeter Scotiabank, a wonderful sponsor.
He also explains money raised won’t be going far, instead benefiting the community in an effort to end homelessness.
