Speed radar signs dominated a large portion of the conversation at Tuesday’s Lucan Biddulph council meeting.
Lucan Biddulph has two signs already, one of them permanent at the arena which was purchased through a donation. The second one was purchased by the municipality, and rotates through the community.
Lucan Biddulph mayor Cathy Burghardt-Jesson explains there is a recommendation to add more signs, one of which would be on the move.
The recommendation is to buy one sign and wait on the second for $6,000 of fundraising efforts in Granton.
The best spot is anywhere in the community, as nobody feels they don’t have speed issues, adds Deputy Mayor Dave Manders.
