Some sad news to pass along, as myFM has learned that Jan Hawley, the Economic Development Officer for Huron East has passed away.
Jan was instrumental in being a leader in the community and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was responsible for bringing initiatives to the area including Win this space, along with always highlighting Huron East and the County in general.
Hawley was also a big part of the reason that CBC personality Johnny Harris came to the area to highlight the community of Vanastra.
myFM wants to extend our condolences to the family and everyone who knew Jan.
