It may be the first weekend of spring, however that is not stopping about 90 people from attending the Winter Adventure Camp at Morrison Dam Conservation Area.
Originally scheduled for January, the family friendly, COVID-19 compliant camp features eight stations with survival lessons, explains Patrick Armstrong, Deputy Commander Marine with Huron and Area Search and Rescue.
Although registration for this weekend’s camp has ended, Armstrong says the goal is to run similar camps this summer and fall.
