A 30 year old South Huron man is facing impaired driving charges following an investigation in Hensall.
On March 20th around 5 PM, police got a call about a possible impaired driver that had collided with a hydro pole before leaving the scene on Oxford Street East.
Police located the driver a short distance away, and when speaking with the driver it was clear the driver was impaired so police attempted to arrest the man.
The accused resisted arrest, but officers were able to gain control of the man, before taking him to the local detachment for breath tests which registered over the legal limit.
The man has been charged with impaired driving, dangerous operation, and resisting arrest.
