In an effort to attract people to downtown Clinton, Angela Smith invites shoppers to come and push our buttons. Smith is the community improvement coordinator for Central Huron and she facilitated installation of automatic door openers at entrances to businesses thanks to funding from Huron County and the Central Huron BIA.
She calls it shopability and with a dozen businesses taking advantage of the program, Smith observes, “With a nudge of your elbow, it’s easier to shop in Clinton.”
