Beginning today (May6) additional groups of people become eligible to receive the COVID vaccine in Huron Perth.
With the vaccine supply increasing this month, Huron Perth Public Health is opening up appointments to a wider portion of the population.
Individuals turning 50 this year, (born in 1971) those who cannot work from home, education workers, front line emergency responders, unlicensed childcare employees, and Foster care agency workers.
Those who work in food manufacturing, agriculture and funeral workers are all among those eligible.
Appointments can be made on the health unit’s online booking system or by calling them. They are currently booking appointments into late May.
