Great news from Lambton Public Health.
The local Health Unit has confirmed a 50 percent vaccination rate for people over the age of 18.
All long-term and retirement home residents have been offered 2nd doses of vaccine as well.
The Health Unit also says anyone eligible for a reduced interval between vaccines has also been booked for a second dose.
The goal is to have close to 65 percent of the eligible population in Lambton County to have at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by the end of May.
