A 29 year old man is facing several charges after police allegedly got more than they bargained for while responding to a call about an impaired man.
On Wednesday, Anishinabek Police were called about the man who was also wanted on an outstanding warrant, and located him on West Ipperwash Road in Lambton Shores.
Police say the man’s movement became erratic during the arrest and a search of the man’s backpack turned up multiple weapons.
Inside the backpack police found an airsoft pellet gun made to look like an assault style gun, modified brass knuckles, a 14 inch modified dumbbell handle, a wrench, hammer, water pipe, and 10 inch kitchen knife.
Now Nathan Leo Wolfe of Kettle Point First Nation is facing charges for weapons, and failure to comply.
