Ontario has resumed in-vehicle passenger road tests at DriveTest centres across the province. Since the government knows how important drive tests are for young people, and that many of them had their drive tests canceled or rescheduled due to the pandemic, the government is taking extra measures.
The province has hired around 170 additional driver examiners to help speed up the process. Monte McNaughton, the MPP for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex said that in the county, it will make a big difference.
