$1.1 million dollars in additional funding is coming to agricultural and horticultural societies impacted by COVID-19.
The Province is providing up to $5000 for each eligible agricultural society and up to $1500 for each eligible horticultural society equal to their 2019 grants.
The funding was announced by Huron-Bruce MPP and new Agriculture Minister Lisa Thompson, and will enable the societies to offset membership losses and revenue.
