Huron Perth Public Health is offering COVID-19 vaccines to anyone turning 12 in 2021.
HPPH is offering walk-in and pop up clinics throughout Huron and Perth Counties to make it easier for people to get vaccinated.
The local health unit also wants everyone to know that they are not currently offering any third doses for vulnerable populations
HPPH said in a press release that local planning is underway in terms of the third doses.
COVID-19 clinics are open for first and second doses and will primarily administer the Pfizer vaccine, unless otherwise specified as 18+ only clinics.
· New evening hours will be offered at the majority of HPPH walk-in clinics between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
· HPPH is offering pop-up vaccination clinics in the following communities:
o Seaforth (Aug. 20)
o Listowel (Aug. 25)
o Exeter (Aug. 26)
o Monkton (Aug. 27) ·

As for third doses populations eligible include:
o Transplant recipients (including solid organ transplant and hematopoietic stem cell transplants)
o Patients with hematological cancers (examples include lymphoma, myeloma, leukemia) on active treatment (chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapy) for malignant hematologic disorders
o Recipients of an anti-CD20 agent (e.g. rituximab, ocrelizumab, ofatumumab)
The Province also announced that residents of high-risk congregate settings including long-term care homes, higher-risk licensed retirement homes and First Nations elder care lodges will be eligible for third does.
