On Friday, South Huron Minor Hockey got a big donation!
The Ontario Minor Hockey Association presented the local minor hockey program with 35 full sets of equipment of plays U7 to U9 thanks to the Player Assist Program.
In total the program which is presented by the Egg Farmers of Ontario will help 350 families experience the game of hockey who may not have been able to.
What this means locally is South Huron Minor Hockey can loan out 35 full sets of equipment including skates, pads, helmets and sticks to players in need.
SHMH will then take the equipment back at the end of the season and loan out the equipment the following season.
