Jason Henry is the New Democratic Party candidate for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.
A family man, with three of his own kids with his wife, a nephew he is raising and five foster children currently under his care, being involved and trying to make a difference in his community is how he got involved in all of the work he does.
The biggest role he plays in the community, is as chief of the Chippewa of the Kettle and Stoney Point nation.
There are three main issues on his platform are indigenous issues, housing especially in rural communities, and pharama-care and health care.
He says that for him, it is all about joining together and working together to make a difference.
Henry says that he got involved in politics because he wants to make a difference in his community, and the way he knows how is to use his voice.
