Today is election day and myFM will be bringing you up to the minute results.
Before the polls close, we caught up with Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Fanshawe College, Matt Farrell who tells us this election is still way too close to call.
Farrell says it’s pretty safe to say Canada will be governed by a minority government.
Farrell adds a couple of lesser established parties could make things more tricky for the major 4.
Recent polling has the New Democratic Party polling at around 20 percent which is good enough for 3rd place.
Farrell believes the NDP will steal some votes from the Liberals and Conservatives.
Farrell says regardless of the outcome, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau’s leadership of the party may be in jeopardy.
Voting closes in Ontario at 9:30 PM.
Remember to stay with 90.5 myFM all night as we provide up to the minute results from our riding, surrounding areas and as we name your next Prime Minister.
