Beginning today, members of the OPP will be participating in “Operation Impact”, a traffic safety initiative across Ontario focusing on speed, seatbelt use, impaired driving and other driving offences.
Officers will be out in full force on local roads, hoping to help reduce collisions as a result of excessive speed, lack of seatbelt use or impaired driving.
You should expect to see a larger police presence in the area. Operation Impact runs from October 8th to October 11th.
